Abstract

The article examines the issue of social isolation among elderly people in Uzbekistan. It provides statistics on the number of elderly individuals and the level of loneliness. The negative consequences of social isolation, including its impact on mental and physical health, are described. A proposed solution is the establishment of a Center for Social and Cultural Longevity, aimed at strengthening social connections and improving the quality of life for elderly individuals.
