Abstract

This paper investigates the role of social and economic indicators in modeling urban migration patterns. As cities become hubs of economic opportunity and social transformation, understanding the drivers and consequences of migration is essential for effective urban planning and policy-making. The study applies computational modeling approaches—such as agent-based modeling and spatial analysis—to simulate migration flows and identify key factors influencing population movement. The research highlights the importance of income inequality, employment availability, education access, housing conditions, and social networks in shaping urban migration trends.
