Abstract

Throughout human history, philosophical thought has always been closely linked to the social, political, and cultural development of society. The interaction of secular and religious (sacral) views, their influence on each other, and their contradictions have played an important role in shaping and developing philosophical thought. The article shows that in the XXI century, due to the strengthening of secularism and the development of science and technology, new trends have emerged in philosophical thought, the influence of religion has weakened, and science and rational thinking have come to dominate human life. Sacral views have also not lost their influence and retain their place in the modern world within the context of the transformation of philosophical thought. The article allows for a deeper understanding of the transformation of philosophical thought, an awareness of the relationship between secularism and sacrality, and an assessment of their significance in the modern world.
