Abstract

This article examines the influence of the historical Silk Road on the development of modern tourism in Uzbekistan. It analyzes the role of the rich cultural heritage associated with the Silk Road in shaping the country's tourism potential. The study covers both historical aspects and modern tourism strategies aimed at attracting tourists interested in cultural and historical heritage. Particular attention is paid to the influence of the Silk Road on the development of tourism infrastructure, marketing campaigns and the formation of tourist routes. In conclusion, recommendations are offered for the further development of Uzbekistan's tourism potential, taking into account its unique position on the Great Silk Road.
