Abstract

The article compares the semantic and syntactic features of English and Uzbek pronouns. The groups of pronouns, their functions in the sentence and aspects of meaning are considered, and the common and different aspects for both languages are identified. The research results contribute to the theoretical and practical study of pronouns.
