Abstract

This article is dedicated to analyzing the main types, operating principles,
and modern technologies of internal combustion engines (ICE). It provides information
on various types of ICEs, including gasoline, diesel, gas, and hybrid engines, evaluating
each in terms of energy efficiency, environmental impact, and technical capabilities. The
article also examines innovations in ICE technology, such as increasing fuel efficiency,
reducing emissions, and integrating with electric engines. The future of technology,
particularly from the perspective of environmental standards and diversification of
energy sources, is also analyzed. This article is essential for engineers, automotive
specialists, and researchers, offering a broad understanding of the current development
and prospects of internal combustion engines.
