E-LEARNING, ELECTRONIC TESTS, AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS IN IRAQ
Abstract
The integration of modern technologies such as virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and machine learning into e-learning environments guarantees students real-life experiences through immersive interaction within learning spaces. The study highlights the importance of artificial intelligence in education, the benefits of e-learning, and the challenges faced in implementing e-learning in Iraq. Electronic education in Iraq faces several obstacles, including lack of funding, security concerns, insufficient infrastructure, and inadequate technical support. Digital assessments and the application of artificial intelligence have proven useful in enhancing educational processes. Social media tools benefit student engagement and facilitate effective learning, resulting in improved academic performance. It is crucial to prioritize cybersecurity awareness among higher education students to ensure a safe and effective online learning environment. The objective of this study is to explore the potential of e-learning in Iraq and to identify the challenges and opportunities associated with its implementation. Using a descriptive approach, the research reviews existing literature on technology in education. The results indicate that e-learning could revolutionize Iraq’s education sector, provided challenges such as infrastructure deficits and lack of teacher training are addressed.
