This article analyzes the significance, effectiveness, and renewal processes of education and professional development within the internal affairs system. It examines the reforms implemented in the training and professional development of personnel in the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including new educational systems and methodologies. The article also explores the legal and governmental foundations of personnel training in the internal affairs system, particularly the decisions and decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as documents issued by the Minister of Internal Affairs regarding the new education and professional development system. It studies new teaching methods and the theoretical and practical aspects of organizing continuous education processes. The article highlights the effectiveness of professional development in areas such as citizen engagement, crime prevention, traffic patrol, and guard-post services within the internal affairs system, and presents the innovations necessary for improving this system. In addition, it analyzes opportunities for introducing international experience and educational systems. This article serves as a valuable resource, especially for specialists, researchers, and policy analysts interested in improving professional training and development for employees of internal affairs bodies.
