Abstract

This study investigates current practices, policy initiatives, and institutional processes aimed at increasing sustainable tourism in Uzbekistan, as well as identifying important challenges that may restrict success. Using a qualitative review of policy documents, international reports, and academic literature, the study identifies both successes and problems in the sustainable tourism environment.
