The Purpose and Meaning of Punctuation Marks in the National Corpus

This article provides an overview of national corpora and punctuation marks, and explains their interrelationships. It is known that in the literature on punctuation marks are classified according to common features - place of use, method of use, structure, function. The article emphasizes the significance of punctuation marks in the national corpus.
