The Concept of Linguocultural Competence, Its Socio-Pedagogical Relevance and Necessity

The purpose of this article is to analyze different points of view on communicative competence and its types described in local and foreign literature, to justify the need to distinguish linguocultural competence, to analyze its importance and role in intensive foreign language teaching.
