This article examines the process of rethinking classical literature in the context of cultural and social changes of the 21st century. The article analyzes various approaches to the interpretation of the works of classics of world literature, their relevance and impact on modern society. Special attention is paid to the adaptation of classical texts in cinema and digital media, as well as the role of education and literary criticism in the perception of classical heritage.
