The Role of Digital Technologies in the Transformation of Commercial Banks

Abstract

The relevance of the study of transformation, the trajectory of development of commercial banks is determined by a combination of environmental factors, characterized at this stage by instability and increased risks. The article pays special attention to the banking sector and digital transformation in this particular industry; it also examines the stages and general trends in the development of digitalization of the banking sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The result of the study is to assess the significance of the digital transformation of the banking sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
