This article summarizes modern medical-biological and psychophysiological research on methods for preventing psycho-emotional stress. The relevance of the study lies in the fact that the consequences of emotional stress have a comprehensive destructive impact on the functioning of the body, undermining people's health. The article highlights problem areas and issues based on scientific knowledge and numerous approaches to preventing the adverse effects of psycho-emotional stress and protecting individuals subjected to stressful situations.
