The article examines issues of pedagogical mastery and the personal qualities of a teacher that influence the effectiveness of the educational process. It analyzes the professional and personal characteristics of a teacher, their communication skills, empathy, and creative approach to teaching. Special attention is given to the importance of self-development and reflection in pedagogical activity.
