Factors Affecting Production Efficiency in Textile Industry Enterprises

General Background: The efficiency of production processes in industrial enterprises plays a crucial role in ensuring sustainable economic growth and competitiveness. The textile industry, as a key sector of the economy, requires continuous improvements in resource utilization, technological innovation, and management practices.
Specific Background: In Uzbekistan, the textile industry has experienced significant development, supported by investments, policy reforms, and the integration of modern technologies. Despite these advancements, ensuring optimal efficiency remains a challenge due to factors such as resource management, technological adaptation, and workforce qualifications.
Knowledge Gap: While previous studies have identified internal and external factors influencing production efficiency, there remains a need for comprehensive research on the interplay of these factors and their combined impact on economic outcomes. Specifically, the role of automation, digitalization, and innovative management strategies requires further investigation.
Aims: This study examines the key factors affecting production efficiency in textile enterprises, including labor skills, technological investments, resource optimization, and economic policies. The objective is to assess the impact of these factors on production performance and propose measures for improvement.
Results: Findings indicate that efficiency improvements stem from modernizing production technologies, optimizing resource allocation, and enhancing workforce capabilities. Additionally, investment in automation and digital solutions has proven to significantly reduce costs and improve production quality.
Novelty: This study provides an integrated analysis of production efficiency determinants in Uzbekistan’s textile industry, offering new insights into the role of technological advancements and investment strategies.
Implications: The research underscores the necessity of policy-driven support for technological upgrades, skill development, and resource optimization to sustain growth in the textile sector. Strengthening industrial competitiveness through strategic investments and innovative management is essential for long-term economic sustainability.
