The article considers the problem of developing the skills of working on the text in the lessons of the native language. The main problem of modern education in the native language is how to achieve effective development of reading literacy skills. In this regard, it should be noted that, since each phenomenon has a specific system, reading literacy skills also need to be developed in accordance with this system. After all, humanity in all periods of historical development “what to teach and how to teach?" and he is still looking for an answer to this question.
