Abstract

Education has evolved significantly over time, leading to the emergence of modern teaching methods alongside traditional approaches. Traditional teaching methods are primarily teacher-centered, relying on lectures, rote memorization, and structured discipline. In contrast, modern teaching methods emphasize student-centered learning, interactive activities, technology integration, and critical thinking. This comparative analysis explores the strengths and weaknesses of both approaches. Traditional methods provide strong discipline, structured learning, and foundational knowledge but may limit creativity and engagement. Modern methods enhance student participation, adaptability, and real-world application but may require more resources and individualized attention.
