In this article, innovative potential is analyzed as an important factor in increasing the efficiency and ensuring the competitiveness of industrial enterprises. The content of innovative activity, its impact on the cost efficiency of the enterprise, formation of competitive advantage through the introduction of new technologies and modernization of management systems are covered. Also, mechanisms and practical aspects of innovative policy at the enterprise level are considered in harmony with trends in the global market.
