Abstract

This article examines the pragmatic potential of phraseological units in the context of communication theory. It explores how these units function in the process of communication, particularly focusing on the emotional aspect of speech and the role of phraseological units in conveying implicit meanings and pragmatic intentions. The paper highlights the significance of understanding communication not only through linguistic structures but also through extralinguistic factors such as social relationships, psychological states, and situational contexts. Additionally, the study discusses how the emotional text, characterized by subjective-modal relations, contributes to the creation of pragmatic impact, emphasizing the interrelationship between metaphorical processes and pragmatic intentions in phraseological expressions.
